FUNDING FRAMEWORK

European Research Frameworks

The project is funded under framework 6 of the European Union research programme.
This framework is set up for Strengthening the Scientific and Technical Base of Industry, and can be accessed by SMEs and research organisations throughout the European Union member states, candidate states and states associated with the research programme.

The particular instrument used to fund this project is SME Activities – Co-operative Research (CRAFT). This initiative is designed to help SMEs to access high level scientific and technical research support, which they would not have the resources to carry out in-house. The programme encourages SMEs to co-operate across state boundaries and to access the best scientific and technical support in Europe.
