PO MOSSEL

This organisation is a very important grouping of the Oyster industry in the Yerseke area of the Netherlands. This is historically the centre of flat oyster production in this country. In the last 20 years, members of this group have seen their production reduced to around 2.3 million shells per annum from over 10 million shells pre-Bonamia. The organisation is in a good position to provide facilities and man-power to assist with the site surveys, and the site sampling requirements. It is also well placed to disseminate the results of the project throughout the Netherlands.
